Q U E E N. GREAT PERFORMANCE!!! I love her style, she doing exactly what a young person should doing at her age... live life right now like there is no tomorrow...have fun in the process...experience different looks and sounds, she's going through a few ups and downs, but for the most part Selena is doing the damn thang.

Can I just mention how much it annoys me that people think her performance was racist or offensive. Even though I am an Indian, I found it to be neither. Bindis, much like that tabla beat used in the song are part of the Indian culture. To have her interpret a form of it in her performance is not at all wrong in any way.

Exactly. She was simply displaying the tribal feel to the song. As you said Bindis are a part
of Inidan culture and with Come & Get It she is representing that. Nothing racist or offensive about that. I wish people would give her a break.

Sigh. I just find it so annoying that they spot something like bindis or a diff dance form and immediately jump on her about being offensive.

I wish they would learn about the liberty that comes with interpreting art and music, and even using elements of other people's culture.

Dubbed the Stars Dance World Tour, Selena revealed: “I’m so excited. I’ll be doing my first world tour and the American dates will run from October 10th through November 20th.” Adding, “tickets go on sale on April 20th at SelenaGomez.com.”

“It’s going to be a bigger show. I’m excited. I’ve been dancing a lot and I just want to entertain people and I’m super stoked.”

Selena further added: “I kind of missed shows when it used to just be about the dancing and the performing as opposed to how big and elaborate the stage is so I kind of want to get back to that. My favorites were Britney [Spears] and Janet Jackson so I kind of want it to be a bit more dancing and make it about entertainment and about the show and the songs as opposed to how big the stage and effects are.”
