Also I find it weird as **** that they keep doing things a few weeks too early with this single. The video came out about a month too soon, the discount was implemented a few weeks too early (should have been implemented today and lasted for two weeks as it did), and the remix (even though I don't like it, it could still be helpful with her Hot 100 peak) should have been released next Friday. And the almost complete lack of promo compared to her last era is odd as well. I don't stan her so I don't know if she made changes to her team and that's why this single is not being executed as smoothly as her ones from last era, but this psalm is not being done justice AT ALL. |
Yes yes yes. The song is not even done, she kept saying the single had so much life left as if they were going to promote it, but they didn't do anything.
They're about to push a new single
20 days after sending Into You to HAC radio,
2 months after sending it to pop radio, how messy is that? I get that you guys are bored and want new things, but she literally didn't do anything for this song but post it on Snapchat. They're gonna start pushing STS at the VMAs which will be wasted because the song doesn't have radio support and won't be getting any until Into You starts falling, even then, it'd have to fall off the top 20 til they even decide to send it to radio. They'll make the same mistake they did with Into You and release the video too early, for what? There's no rush. Into You could have done so much better if they TRIED, and she has a bunch of events coming up in September where she really could have pushed the song to a better peak.
Right There too. IY didn't completely flop, but it's been dragged out for so long and they didn't even try to do anything with it. Time to move on and they better treat the next single with some respeck.
