I think a complete view, from start to end is only a view for YT. iTunes has last 5 seconds.

That 129 views = one download thing doesn't seem right.
That would mean that with 10,000,000 views, the song has been purchased 77,000+ times.

And Bad Romance would have 3,000,000+ downloads from Youtube alone.

That is actually of no matter to us at all... We are working for points towards the Billboard Hot 100. We don't care for revenue of the labels... We are stans and only concerned about certain things around Lady Gaga. We're not here to push label profits. The streaming part of the BB Hot 100 is only very small and this article actually is of no interest to us.

As far as I know, just viewing is good anyways for Hot 100 but I wouldn't thrusth it too much with all those numbers of bringing in the equivalent of a download, considering that's not important to us at all. Just views and position on Hot 100 and sales. 129 views won't count for a sale literally so...

I think you really need to watch the complete video, considering there's lots of these automated sites that play the vidoe and then refresh -> *thinks and concludes* -> you need to see the whole thing for a view.

Its a little confusing the way they count it because what happens if you fast forward or pause it for example? safest way is to just watch it through completely i guess.
