It's rather difficult for me to be scared at any movies these days, although I'm more scared of what I can't see rather than what I can. Demons, ghosts, poltergeists, witches and whatever else are just too unrealistic (I realise that's the whole point).
I've never watched The Shining either. Perhaps that'll scare me because it's psychological and in human-form.

I'm never scared of movies - it's more thinking about them afterward that gets me. Like when you watch The Taking Of Deborah Logan and like it and your friend jumps so high her ass is in your face, but then you're laying down at night contemplating the slow decomposition of the mind that old age causes and that dementia can exacerbate, and the breakdown of reality that can accompany that. And also demons and the supernatural.
