I just want to say good on Lana for sticking to her sound and not selling out to some generic top 40 formula.
Even though ha stans turned me off earlier this year, I can't deny that her music is amazing. Let me figure out a way to add her back to my sig without it looking too lopsided.

Drake. Gary Clark Jr. Kendrick Lamar. Jay Z. Foster the People. Eminem.
This will be the single that truly introduces Lana to the (US) GP. It is literally the perfect single for her, like I can't begin to describe how much I love it. Everything from the production to the lyrics to the vocals just summer while remaining undeniably Lana. I also adore the fact that I haven't been hooked by any of the lyrics yet, but by the production in the chorus. I was already humming it when I started getting ready for class.
People love Lana for her BTD-sound and this is quite different. I'm now sure how I feel about it. It's not bad but not that catchy. She left those hip hop beats after BTD and Paradise wasn't as successful.
I hope that Ultraviolence will deliver and won't be a flop.
I'm so impressed. I've always loved Lana and I own the album and the EP, but I didn't expect such an amazing comeback from her. This is the best song she's released since 'Video Games'. I'm not crazy about the production of the last chorus, but except for that, the song is literally free of flaws Incredible
