His Vice President is one of the most anti-gay politicians in Washington. He just appointed a vicious homophobe who believes in forced gay conversion therapy as his head of domestic policy. It's truly sad that gay men have so little self-worth that they'll cling to any bigot who says they should be allowed to live.
At first I was upset about the electoral college, but now I realize why it is important to award the presidency based on the # of states won and not individual votes. We wouldn't even be talking about the rust belt issues, etc. without it.
If you guys are basing his win on race, we may as well lay out facts.
We take a look at this data, he only fared 1% better than Mitt Romney did in 2012. So regardless, "uneducated whites" are going to vote for him regardless. They weren't going to be the deciding factor in this election.
But if you take a look on proceedings, you can see that Trump had a surge of black (+7), Hispanics (+8), and Asians (+11), meaning he did better with them than Hillary despite her grabbing the majority of the voter's share.
Some of y'all are making being intellectually dishonest a competition with these ****-grinning posts.

Those men can't do anything w/p Trump's approval, so we'll see

Fact: People voted for Trump, voted for Trump and not for the Republican Party. I was just thinking about what you said last night, but I saw this video.
Even many legions of die hard democrats, die hard Clinton supporters have jumped shipped to vote for Trump.
So a vote for Trump is a vote for Trump, and NOT for the Republican Party.
Me too, I actually expected Hillary to win over Obama and wanted him to take over in 2012 even though that's not realistic.
Trump and the republican party have to turn things around because they will lose ALL power if they don't and YOU KNOW that Trump and the conservatives want to throw it in the majorities face that THEY were able to do it.
Even if for those childish reasons alone, they will do their best to be able to take credit for the turnaround.
I DON"T SEE WHY PEOPLE DON"T GET THIS THOUGH???
Right, could you imagine if Hillary won and the conservatives were handling it the way liberals are right now.
When I was in college and Kerry lost to Bush (which I was NOT expecting) I still had to take my tests and complete my projects.
this younger generation is being coddled and pacified based on a CORRUPT MEDIA who put them on a pedestal and set them up to fall hard.
If media was focused on integrity, credibility and facts and not on appeasing their audience and lip service than people could better prepare for the results.
Conservatives had to man up and toughen up when they took their Ls like bosses.
It's time the liberals do the same.
Nah, the new generation of liberals are just fed up and have much higher levels of sensitivity when it comes to injustices, realising that staying at home and screaming "ignorant" to bigots just won't do it anymore.
Further, Donald Trump outlined in his book, The America That We Deserve, how he dreamed of a nation that was “unencumbered by bureaucratic ineptitude, government regulation, confiscatory tax policies, racism, discrimination against women, or discrimination against people based on sexual orientation.”

He will approve every agenda they set. Appointing them is an endorsement of their plans for America. But keep clinging to a few pandering words he said in June to capitalize on a tragedy.

that's the reason why dems and republicans were so up in arms.
He is the outsider coming in and calling BS on the nonsense.
People fail to realize that this is the person that authored the Art of the deal
He KNEW how to connect to his audience to harness their power and drive and motivate them.
The stars have aligned with the the House/Senate and presidency.
If people actually think he isn't going to use his negotiation skills and leadership abilities to work in his favor so that he can gloat and brag (this is if you don't give him credit for sincere concerns at minimum) about turning things around, I don't know what to tell people.
As much as you all give them flack, the conservative party and outsider Trump have to be plumb fools to not know that this is THE MOMENT they can take credit and make this an 8 year presidency

Exactly. CNN and MSNBC treated her like crap and she has done so much in her life that she doesn't need to relegate herself to commentating. Would be nice but she's more than that
Yeah I see exactly what you guys mean. I just dream of seeing her on a public platform while not running for anything. You know just giving her honest opinion without worrying about offending any part of the electorate, she deserves it. However I also agree with you guys, those two networks did her dirty especially CNN. I wonder who is going to snag her first interview post election? Any ideas???

So facts are now unintelligent claims, because it didn't favour Hillary?
Even I know that Trump's message that China is a currency deflator is BAD, and I support him. Hopefully he'll have a change of mind, and work with China instead of portraying them as a bad player in the economic stage.
Work together hand in hand, rather than start WW3.

*snort*
The fact that they believe what Trump said over Hillary when every legitimate source tells them otherwise.
Ah ignorance and sexism are so much more powerful than I thought.
Oh and this is not fact. People voted for Trump because they dislike Hillary. It doesn't mean they liked Trump.
It's like people suddenly forgot his favorability ratings

Perhaps Queen Lulu is 29, and have a little growing up to do... j/k.
It's amazing how there is a contrast reversal of ideologies now in politics. The right has become so much more progressive, even Bush admitting he softened up and now supports gay marriage. Whereas, this new breed of left has become so intolerant of criticisms, and change. But the cycle goes on, like I said. Liberals now, Conservative later when they grow and settle down.

Yes... return and show your growth and perspective.
Yes, there is a reason the electoral college exists and people were using it when false media was showing a whole lot of blue and not red.

Media proved to be biased and full of falsehoods but some are taking longer to accept that and still cling on to believing the security blanket riddled in fallacies
