It depends on the show. Regular talk show performances have little to no instant effect at this point. But performances at award shows, especially relevant ones like the VMA's, do matter. Not that they have the power to propel the song to #1 on iTunes or anything, but they definitely have the pull to give her a big boost on the H100, especially if the performance is great
