I think the management are worried about pleasing the little girls to the point that they won't take a risk with the music. I'm sure the boys want to mature.
Tbh we don't have nearly enough info to know for sure that it is their management, and not the guys themselves.
I haven't seen anything from the guys to suggest that though, Waffles. Maybe some of their writing that's going on might be influenced by the factor of their fanbase, possibly but...
I could use an album that is at least transitioning the fans into more mature material that can appeal to the AC/HAC audience too.
I'd like to pretend that management are smart and will let/make the guys record a "hybrid" album that is half/half what they have been doing and a new mature direction.
I haven't seen anything from them to really show any eagerness for progressing either.
We just see them bored and assume that their music is the reason for it.
Hmm. True, that can be argued.
Zayn seems to be the most openly expressing that POV lately. Wonder if the others feel the same way.

You see that bubble next to "Reply w/Quote" with the "..." inside it? Click it and it'll turn red. This applies to every post in any thread. Once you're done clicking the Multiquote button, click "Post Reply to Thread" near the top of the page and the posts you've chose to multi-quote will show up.
