This. It's amazing how huge her fan base is on twitter though. They can make anything trend in a matter of minutes.

True. Their problem is their nature of being like sheep, though. They group around one they deem to be a 'leader' and in the end become stans of that person. They then let that person call all their shots and decide which songs they do and don't like.

That's the thing, though. Material Girl was a song I discovered myself, and loved for what it was, rather than being introduced to it through hype or aggressive stanning. It is just 'my type of song'
