Real art has the purpose to present and maintain what humans value. Values that will make us better people and help us survive. This is why the first caveman drew on cave walls about hunting, they showed what they valued for survival and to pass it on to other generations. Now what does this have to do with GTA, well GTA does nothing but show you that if you murder, steal, and beat up prostitutes you become successful and nothing will happen to you. If you died at the end this would of changed things. But you don't, you live and keep millions of dollars to use on ammunition so you can kill innocent people. That is not art to me. That just satisfies our sick desires to do whatever we want and get away with it.

I appreciate what TLOU accomplishes in terms of story-telling/development & atmosphere but I find myself not going back to it as much as GTA V. May be a bit bias here since it's my favorite series, but I generally prefer open-world genres. It's Naughty Dog's best game for sure, but the gameplay doesn't excel to me. I've played different modes of it though to try to enhance the experience (PS4 version) & some stealth components I find a bit unappealing . For me it's more than just "murder & steal" to me with GTA games, it's the freedom, satire, & environment that appeals to me more. It's way more replayable & open-ended. Story wise TLOU excels, but gameplay wise GTA excels.
OT: Missy is 2/2 with her new singles, and I kind of need the album announcement now.
