I wouldn't say Katy has any real talent, but she still makes great songs on occasion. Talent and quality output don't necessarily go hand in hand.

All of her best material has come from that all-star production team of hers anyway.

Replace Ghost with Double Rainbow and throw in Choose Your Battles and you literally have an album that's like...better than 1989

Yeah, eschewing the ballads is deff a must for Katy, or at the least she needs to get someone else to write them for her. Hers are almost invariably incredibly poor.
