She doesn't have the musical chops to dodge generally traditional formulaic song structures/ideas. Only someone like FKA twigs or something could make something that left-field and bring it

Meghan really is done. "Roar" just surpassed "All About That Bass" in views even though AATB was arguably a bigger hit + is newer (hence benefited from streaming more) + has a current single boosting her popularity. Meanwhile all Hag has done is dress like a clown and hang out with her loser friends at Coachella.

Um some of y'all have the Kendrick line figured all wrong.
The line is most definitely not making apologies for pedophilia.Throughout the entire song Kendrick questions his listeners what it would take for them to abandon him (if **** hit the fan is you still a fan?). The whole song is about how far idolozing should go and what a difficult and complex concept it is. But most importantly the question is: even if Michael was a pedophile and even if Kendrick was a murderer or a drug dealer(as indicated in the song) does that take away the quality of their music and their positve message. It's not justifying pedophilia at all.
