I think it would be kind of cool if YG debuted all 9 of them. I know that raises a bunch of unnecessary comparisons to EXO/the late SNSD but they're all extremely talented and there's so much potential in a group with all 9 of them, especially since they all have such varying areas of specialization.
It'd definitely be the easiest way to get a huge fanbase in no time, especially with a Double B subunit and a more pop unit.
I'm guessing you're referring here specifically to vocal talent because they're clearly all extremely talented individuals and are already a really talented group as a unit. There is a bit of an imbalance between rap and vocal with their current line-up since Junhwe basically carries the vocal line single-handedly right now but truthfully none of the 3 new trainees are up to that level anyway so it's kinda a moot point. Hongseok is a decent vocalist but ultimately they all have lots of room for improvement so who knows who will be the better vocalist by the time the competition's over And honestly, I thought Donghyuk's performance in RITD was good. He's my least-favourite Team B member but I'm still rooting for him.
You also stan hard for GOT7 whose live vocals suck hints why its not surprising you are rooting for Donghyuk who as a said befroe would be a perfect fit for GOT7 with his vocal ability and dance ability and chanwoo who is pretty much a fricking puppy who can't do anything and isn't even a must have actor. The only reason he got casted was because he looks like a young Lee Minho.
Secondly 9 members means each group member gets paid less and racks up more debt before paying it off. It's cheaper to debut a smaller group and them become independent than a large group and them not make any money for 3 years which the music scene could be very different and you end up losing money from your investment into a group.

Now would be the ideal time to snatch their lane since that other group seems to be imploding.

I stopped reading here because live vocals aren't everything (and as a Big Bang stan you should know this since they just adlib their way through 99% of their concerts anyway)

That's your problem, you're already too attached to the Team B members to see everything clearly.
I'll pray so you can be enlightened sis
Hi, I'm new to KPOP. Currently jamming to 2NE1 songs but I want to ask what's that song that's being played in that Microsoft commercial? It's not in their Crush album.
Also, how do Mnet Countdown or that Inikigayo or something like that determines who is No.1? Is it a weekly chart? Thanks!

It's from their "2nd mini album" (that's actually the name of the album). You should check it out, I think it's on spotify, it's quite good. Their 1st mini is good too, very different from their current sound.

BIGBANG also came out and debuted in a very different KPOP environment than today. Secondly they didn't have in company rivals whose fans would do anything to ensure their demise.Thirdly, Three chipmunk vocals with one powerhouse vocalist is not good. They have to be well rounded and Chanwoo doesn't add anything vocally they don't have and neither does Dong who also beat out Hongseok for the JYP audition in 2012 which means Dong should be lightyears ahead of Hongseok but he is not.He is a weak link. Weak links must be exterminated to prevent the mediocry of a group.

Digital sales, Album sales, SNS(?), and viewer ratings for that particular week. So yes its a weekly chart. Criteria differs depending on the show. Inkigayo counts digital sales more than the other categories for example.
