they did like 150 in gen5 didn't they? and the quality was ABYSMAL

Gen 6 got 70 and the vast majority were great.

we don't need another 100 tacky and horrid pokemon. Just give us 50 quality new ones and a few add on evolutions for older pokemon and that will be more than fine.

I agree. The most important thing for me personally is for them to finally make the Pokémon distribution a bit more interesting throughout the game. The Tentacool, Magicarp and Zubat gimmicks on every route/rod were fun for the time being. But there are so many Pokémon introduced that it would make far more sense to have alternative distribution. They can easily alter that. Make it a bit more interesting.

This footage turned out to be the first broadcast of the special Pokémon Sun & Moon trailer that was released with the Pokémon Direct back in February. This was the first airing of the Pokémon Sun & Moon trailer on Japanese Television.

I agree with the general sentiment for once. Quality > Quantity. I'd much rather have another batch of 70 mons where only 10 are trash, as opposed to 160 where 120 of them are trash.
