We still can't compare anything about its performance to Anti. Just like if we wanted to compare Rihanna to Katheryn today, we reference data from Katy's most recent album PRISM. Not the inscrutable "KP4".

Nah, Unapologetic is still the one to compare to PRISM because they were closer in release dates. This is just how it is, especially in an age where the music industry is in a state of rapid change. Even since 2012/3, things have changed dramatically, so comparing current releases to ones from them is pointless. Unfortunately, this isn't an opinion, but an objective truth.

Comparing Anti to Prism is dumb for a number of reasons.

(1) Streaming has taken over drastically since 2012/3.
Back then, even Rihanna would keep her album off of streaming services. Times changed.
Pure sales are much lower and fickle.
(2) One is an eighth album, one is a third album. You connect the dots.
(3) One of these artists has experienced a dramatic fall in star power more than the other.

You can't compare a 2013 release to 2016 one because of the shift into streaming. But you can keep trying.
