Ugh if she released new romantics as lead with an 80s, the breakfast club/can't buy me love inspired video, followed by blank space, style (with the Polaroid themed vid) and shake it off for summer, she would've been the first person with four 1 billion views videos on YouTube. Alas

NR was never gonna happen. Well, unless she came out & did a gay-themed video with it after the same-sex marriage getting legalised in the US.

New Romantics fits as final song
It has something relieving vibe, triumph feeling on the melody
Releasing it as final single is the best idea (I even thought it would work as encore of 1989 tour)
The timing and the video just dont support it

Yeah basically nothing. Your point?
The only things in US TV were the 10 seconds of Bad Blood at the VMA's and OOTW at the Grammy when it had long peaked

That's why I'd be here for Red 2.0 - a bit of everything but without fillers and the rock songs should be more rock. All Too Well always reminds me of My Immortal and Nothing Else Matters - if it was more rock like these two, it would have been even better.
|
I'm also here for an other experimental album like RED Not COUNTRY ALBUM RED 2.0 though But with more COUNTRY on TS6 than 1989, I BET, anybody challenge me?

people always mention how huge the promo for 1989 was, I thought the list would be longer tbh

This is the best part of 1989 ERA Based on the promotions, wasn't 1989 supposed to be as front-loaded as 25? But look at its long-long-longevity
Edit: Long-long-long makes me recall the ENDLESS ENDLESS ENDING The over-exposure with like ZERO PROMOTION in the whole second half of the ERA.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift will for sure be remembered by people and history, Adele might be close third.
For GENRE justice, only Gaga and Taylor, but Taylor's way is much better.
For ROCK, Gaga can not be compared with Taylor at all, ROCK IS IN TAYLOR'S BONE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, So is POP, So is COUNTRY, you guys think about it. You can not say this to Gaga on Jazz, but still great, even though not the same.
Edit: Now Taylor has COUNTRY album FEARLESS winning her first Grammy AOTY, POP album 1989 winning her second Grammy AOTY, TS6 is too early to win another Grammy AOTY right after, soooo...TS7 or TS8?
Edit2: I'm here for Taylor feeling total FREE to write TS6, most likely experimental TAYLOR SWIFT GENRE. POP, COUNTRY, ROCK...and what else?

Literally she's just behaving like Ed, enjoying and living her life. I wish the media and people using her name would respect that as much as they do when other artists disappear.
|
That's why I compared Taylor with Ed in the past, different from Ed, Taylor has to deal with the over-exposure differently, real break is a luxury thing for Taylor, she was born to be under spotlight, then cope with it.
