Not really, and it's not a valid reason to discredit the list. Why would you expect the list to include music that they don't write about the rest of the time? It's a western popular & indie music publication, just like RS, Billboard etc. This is implicit. It would take a writing staff of thousands (ergo a shitload of money) to keep track of all the music in the world
you're just being unreasonable.
