Its my top 3 of the album but I think we should let any hope of it going #1 go, unless she plans on performing the hell out of it, I really don't see how its ever going to reach the top spot with the video already out.

She knows Needed Me has more hype rn and probs wants to focus on that.

Well she should have released "Needed Me" as a mono release for sure. It would have limited chances on pop panel, but she could bypass that with some remix featuring a pop artist.

Yeah I think they have more faith in Needed Me, which is an obvious hit (it's streaming alone >> ).
KIB is fan fave, her fave, one of her best songs imo. They had the video shot for months and I guess they just wanted to give it a shot. Release a video and see if it can take off somewhere.

I don't see promo coming anyway, maybe (unlikely tbh) when US leg ends, and that's in May I think.

Not you trying to analyse what she's doing with the release. She never cared for singles success and release strategies, especially not this era, you all got confused because Work smashed as hard as it did. But it's not like she planned it, it kind of happened on its own when the video dropped.
She just loves the song, the whole Navy does, she had the video ready for months so all she did was press upload. That's her strategy.
