On 3rd listen
Hey Angel - Sounds like 'Millenium' by Robbie Williams or something. Might literally be the worst One Direction song I've ever heard
Drag Me Down - I love the HEYs in the chorus, and the 'nothing left'/'be his best'/'see the sun' background chants, but it's a relatively throwaway sing overall
Perfect - It's very beautiful, although this is mostly due to it ripping off 'Style'. I do love the guitar sound and background production sound in this sing (heard most prominently right before the 2nd verse)
Infinity - A bit tedious
End Of The Day - Twee and annoying. The pre-chorus is heaven though, with that vocal effect
If I Could Fly - Insipid. Compare & contrast with their track 6 ballad from last year.

The decline
Long Way Down -
Never Enough - Sooo good. That HEAVENLY prechorus <3 The explosion of guitars and "COME ON"s at the end of the chorus is the best moment of the album

The catchy ass verses

The mmm-bay or w/e hook in the background. So ****ing good.
Olivia - What is this dumb ass Willy Wonka novelty mess
What A Feeling - Fleetwood Mac realness. Beautiful
Love You Goodbye - Goodness, the ballads on this album are just horrible
I Want To Write You A Sing - All these twee, sickly ass sings
History - Charmless 'Act My Age' wannabe
Temporary Fix - Charmless 'No Control' wannabe
Walking In The Wind - The 'You Can Call Me Al' melodies

Mediocre, but better than most of these other sings
Wolves - This is such a half-hearted effort. All these easy-listening dad-rock sings
Made In The A.M. - At least their career ends on a high note. So relaxing but low-key euphoric. I see the 'now we got proooblems' melodic bite though.
Their worst album by far. Mess. Zayn >
Drag Me Down/Perfect/Never Enough/What A Feeling/Made In The A.M. is a cute EP though
'Home' also ***** on 95% of this album
