I like it but I don't love it. I love the opening, the verses and the bridge but the chorus and it's production in it drags the song down. Hopefully, it grows on me but 45S is so much better.

After listening it 2nd and 3rd time I love it, but It doesn't really sound original to me, sounds the same way Roar sounded to me when i first heard it, with the difference that Roar was a lot more generic and cringy because of the lyrics, whereas Rihanna's vocals give some unique feel to the song and the lyrics are better by far.

I think it's perfect fot a soundtrack, defnitely not for her own album.

Having said that, her vocals are amazing, really. I love the fact that she's challenging her voice and herself as an artist. Good job Rih !

Edit: Oh and I hear similarities with "Princess of China", yes. But "POC" is another level, it's mind-blowing and it's really, really underrated.
