The refs check all 12 balls before the game even starts. They make sure everything is proper with the balls (

So, it would be the REFS that were wrong, not the coach, or QB, or anyone on the Patriots for that matter.
Plus, checking the balls (

) would be low on air. Anyone who has left balls (
