Look, I personally understand that happy songs will sound corny...hell all my 'happy' entries were like that. I can promise that, for my judging at least, being 'corny' won't mean point deductions.
So glad we got an extended deadline, kinda got a cute "Through the looking glass..." first verse and the melody is on lock but it's so so so so so hard trying to make it cohesive without starting to sound cryptic af like all my other songs lawdT.. I hate "happy" songs in general negl
I'm getting a whole lot of "busy" responses… I'm really hoping we don't get another dropout… Would anyone object to one more day added to the deadline? If more than half of the contestants here do, then I'll extend the deadline (even further than I have already…) I'd really hate to get rid of a grip of contestants because they're all busy…

I'd hate to wait even longer for results, but if the others need it I can accept. I can write songs incredibly fast if I need to, time is just a luxury for me.
