One Direction fails to maintain a top 10 position in my yearly best of list, nevertheless this is still a decent finish considering this song never hit #1 on my weekly countdown. Once again this track is extremely catchy just like most of their songs. I would also like to congratulate them as this was proclaimed song of the year (2013) in the biggest music channel here in the Philippines.

Just like 1D, this is the final appearance of this epic band on my list. But I have to congratulate them for winning favorite alternative single of 2013 by a mile. Re-appreciated this song after watching the epic battle of Will Champlin and James Wolpert of this track on The Voice US. That actually made "Radioactive" resurface my weekly countdown at #1. As I said, they are an amazing band, so I'm expecting nothing but greatness from them this 2014!

British band Lawson appears for the first time on my Best of 2013 list with their current single, "Juliet". I can feel that they were experimenting what sound the general public would buy in the repacked edition of CS. Being this had higher peak and longevity than "Brokenhearted" in the UK charts, we could be expecting some tracks with alternative influences on their next album. This is just the first of four entries from Lawson in the top 20.
