So you open WMD, you drag the video into the big white square (I'm going to show you, but it's in portuguese.
The buttons are located in the same place, so...)
Then you go to Edit (Editar) it may have another name, and you click in the first "button" in the end (In this case, it's called Definir Ponto de Início
[Set Start Point] - which will make the scene you want the start one, you know? Imagine you want to gif a video and you want the 0:10 seconds mark to be the beginning of the gif, you go to the 10 seconds mark, you click that button and it'll make it the beginning mark)
Below that "button" there's another button (In this case Definir Ponto de Fim
[Set End Point] which does the same as the one above, expect it's the end of the gif)
One you're done and you have the scene of the video you want, you go to the first button (called base or something) and you go to save film or movie or something similar and you save it for HD screen
