Tyler is garbage but as much as I dislike him and most of his films, I do appreciate how he gives work to up and coming black actors who aren't big names.
They need to start allowing white folks to make black movies again. (see. D'jango). There will never be another House Party, Coming to America, School Daze, Boyz N Da Hood etc. All the good black actors are nearing 50. These yong ones aint it.
That is so damn true. Black directors are too hell bent on showing the "struggles" and the "truth" about blacks and how they are. New flash. We don't care lolz.
It's funny though I see more young black actors in good roles for white directors than I do for black directors. Most of the "young" people in black directed films are either pushing 30 or a rapper. Something needs to be done.
