The intro is killer. So nerdy with all the 70s sci fi aesthetic and kinda creepy. The cinematography once again is absolutely gorgeous, clearly benefiting from having a fashion photographer directing her.
The Mugler inspired skeleton stuff should've been edited off. It doesn't make any sense in the video at all.
And I love that despite all the intended seriousness, she tops it off with that cringeworthy moment of blowing a gum, which kinda balances the mood for the video.
I agree that the choreography seemed much sharper at the Grammys. It was indeed very soft.
Overall, a solid achievement. She makes the best music videos by far out of any of her contemporaries. Just look at Katy Perry, Britney, Ke$ha and Rihanna's latest efforts and you should be more than satisfied with this.
Oh, and the separated front teeth are just another smack in the face for the Madonna comparisons. She's giving the media exactly what they want to the point where they are sick of it and move on. Clever move.

I agree, though I think the Muggler part could make sense. I want to say that they're supposed to be a gay couple, but Gaga should have dressed as a man. When I first watched it I thought it was unreleated to the video, but now I'm not sure. Anyhow I still liked it! Even if it didn't I love the makeup, and the end
