I think I have the exact same bottom 3 & top 3 as your Banks picks
Almost the same with TLOP, except missing Ultralight Beam, & I love both parts of Father Stretch My Hands! Pretty on point description too - it's quite a mess.
I thought Wild World was pretty good and a step up from their debut, but it is for sure way too long & samey to get too into it. Surprised to see The Currents on your bottom list I quite like that one and everyone else I know who listened to the album liked that one too.
Just kidding about when I said I'm taking a break on the 24th It'll likely be the 26th instead.

Yeah, it wasn't horrible or anything, just messy and it lacked a good amount of standout tracks.

Banks had a great release, not as good as her debut but I still enjoyed it.
Rachel Platten's album, I wanted to like it so so so much but asides the singles and perhaps one track I couldn't get through it. She has an incredible voice, she shouldn't get held back by boring ballads.
I didn't listen to ha debut but The Altar doesn't really make me want to.
Very true

Moonlight Kill for You should've been a single
The chorus is so cute though!
True, it could've been a decent sized hit because Eminem fans have been supporting the hell out of it.

Kiiii
Their debut was kinda samey as well but I preferred the vibe it had, and there were a few more standout tracks as well. I don't even remember what The Currents sounds like but I gave it a 6.5/10 so apparently it wasn't good.

Now it's time for my Best Films list! These are simply ranked based off of the grade I gave each movie. 2016 had another solid crop of releases, but as usual, there were still a few flops in the mix. Here's my bottom 2 for the year.
Also, just a note that I wasn't able to watch these yet, so they'll have to be saved for 2017:
Doctor Strange • The Edge of Seventeen • Moana
The Boss Grade: F- Starring: Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell, Peter Dinklage RT: 22% | IMDB: 5.4/10 | MC: 40 Release Date: 04/08/2016 Mini Review: Melissa McCarthy has a pretty hit-or-miss filmography but unfortunately this was a huge miss, even though it looked great at first. The movie had a ton of failed jokes, plenty of boring scenes, and characters you never get the chance to care about. It's already bad enough when a COMEDY barely makes me laugh, but when I'm physically cringing within the first 7 minutes? Nah... game over.
Suicide Squad Grade: D- Starring: Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Jared Leto RT: 26% | IMDB: 6.4/10 | MC: 40 Release Date: 08/05/2016 Mini Review: This is the first DC film I've ever seen, and sadly it was not a good start at all. The trailers for this were PHENOMENAL, they truly made this look like it'd be a masterpiece. Instead it just turned out to be an immense disappointment as every ounce of potential was completely ruined. Suicide Squad is overflowing with flaws - the script, editing, villain, several useless characters, important stories cut short and those are just a few of them. I'd suggest not wasting your time.
Here are the next 3 albums to make an appearance on my list. Also, just a reminder that these are ranked based off the rating average I gave each release, so it all depends on QUALITY - not plays or anything else.
Thank You Artist: Meghan Trainor Grade: 88.2%, B+ | Metacritic: 60 Release Date: 05/13/2016 Super Mini Review: Does this hold a candle to 'Title'? Of course not. Is it as bad as most said it was? Not really. Once you get used to the large amount of corny lyrics and themes, it's certainly a step over tolerable.
Trinity: 1. Watch Me Do 2. NO 3. I Won't Let You Down
Bottom 3: 15. Just a Friend to You 16. Dance Like Yo Daddy 17. Me Too
Death of a Bachelor Artist: Panic! at the Disco Grade: 88.6%, B+ | Metacritic: 69 Release Date: 01/15/2016 Super Mini Review: Brendon Urie and Co. are always great, but this record was a tad underwhelming. There's no bad tracks, though there's also a clear, significant lack of highlights.
Trinity: 1. Don't Threaten Me... 2. Victorious 3. Death of a Bachelor
Bottom 3: 09. Hallelujah 10. Impossible Year 11. Crazy=Genius
Starboy Artist: The Weeknd Grade: 90%, A- | Metacritic: 67 Release Date: 11/25/2016 Super Mini Review:BBTM was the first Weeknd album I listened to and I hated most of it. With Starboy, Abel heavily improves as he serves more upbeat bops, less boring slow songs, and more than a handful of standout tracks. Unfortunately, Future's horrible feature on "All I Know" made this miss my top 20.
Trinity: 1. Secrets 2. Love to Lay 3. Rockin'
Bottom 3: 16. Sidewalks 17. Reminder 18. All I Know
Best Albums List: So Far
28. BANKS 'The Altar' [78.8%, C+]
27. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis 'This Unruly Mess I've Made' [79.2%, C+]
26. Kanye West 'The Life of Pablo' [79.6%, C+]
25. Bastille 'Wild World' [80%, B-]
24. Rachel Platten 'Wildfire' [85%, B]
23. Meghan Trainor 'Thank You' [88.2%, B+]
22. Panic! at the Disco 'Death of a Bachelor' [88.6%, B+]
21. The Weeknd 'Starboy' [90%, A-]
Now this concludes the fifteenth day of REM-EMBERING 2016.
Remember that you can see a recap of everything in the Navigation post (Page 1, Post 2.)
To wrap things up, it's time for another performance!
These guys have been going strong for over a decade and their 5th studio release, which just appeared on my Best Albums list, surely proves that. To perform one of the hit singles, this is...
