Japoy's Best Of 2010 | Top 100 Songs (35-33)
35. Lady Antebellum “Need You Now”
“It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now. I said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now.”
Country group Lady Antebellum makes their breakout hit thanks to their smash single Need You Now. By the time this single is playing in the radios, it eventually grow on me and suddenly i fell in love with the lyrics and the tempo of the song. The chorus is so memorable and singable and it is actually my favorite part. Hopefully, I get to hear more songs from Lady Antebellum like Need You Now and I can say that I will like listening to country music then.
34. Jason Derulo “What If”
“But we can't, we can't tell the future no. The first kiss, the beauty of the world we know. So Imma say duuuduuu duuuduuu duuudu duuudu...Baby, what if...”
The fourth single from Jason Derulo's self-titled debut album makes an appearance at the #34 spot with What If. In My Head and Ridin' Solo are good songs but this song is one of the standout tracks in his album as this became one of my instant favorites, and I can say that this adds another hit single from Jason. Thanks to radio airplays here, it helped me to like the song so much and I can see that majority also like this as this became a #1 hit here. Expect one more song from Jason Derulo in the next update.
33. Justin Bieber “Never Let You Go”
“It's like an angel came by, oh and took me to heaven. Like you took me to heaven, girl. 'Cause when I stare in your eyes it couldn't be better. I don't want you to go, oh no...”
You've seen him making a collaboration with Usher and Sean Kingston in the previous updates, now Justin Bieber apprears once again with his solo effort for Never Let You Go. One of my favorite songs from the My World 2.0 album and this why it made it to my top 50 list. The video for this one is a decent one, I like the scenes and the location that somehow suites the mood of the song. Never Let You Go spend some days at #1 in my countdown and it did performed well and now her is sitting comfortable at #33.
