Omg reminds me once in English class last year, we had to take this line from Looking For Alaska and change it. The line was "So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that
if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.”
So we had to change bold and make it our own and some girl was like "We should do popstars! You know how they always say Katy Perry is copying Lady Gaga?" (this was around the Prismatic Tour vomit/green hair thing). So she changed it to "if people were pop stars, I was Lady Gaga and she was Katy Perry" (the original connotation of the line was changed but it was shady)
Someone also did "if people were popstars, I was Beyonce and she was Rihanna"
