We knew there was gonna be one or two pop songs from the very beginning. It was inevitable. I don't thing more than two, MAYBE three will be on there. But it was going to happen, there was no way it wouldn't. I could see those who are fans of her hip-hop and not really here for the multiple genres she can take on would be frustrated. I just see that she has a cross-over potential which will open her audience and her success. I'm worried that her hip-hop fan base is going to shrink which will hurt first-week sales, though.

Nicki can undoubtedly become a huge pop star, but if that's what she's looking for, she better stop releasing stuff like SH. And yeah, I fell in love with hip-hop Nicki so this is just too much for me. Super Bass was cute, this isn't.

Oh well, I'm just going to have to play "Monster" if I want to hear Nicki the way I want her remembered
