50 cent twitted or something before GMAYL was released that M's new single was titled GGW and he was mad at interscope since he had an album or song called the same.
So I assume that this was insider info that 50 cent got and that they were indeed considering GGW as 1st single, like he believed.
Personally, I think that's a desperate coverup of a failed first single attempt. I'm not sure why a buzz single would get a huge clear channel deal, a super bowl performance and a video. Imagine if she didn't have the Super Bowl or the clear channel deal?
The main reason for the Super Bowl performance was to build hype for the Tour tickets, not to push GMAYL.

well you have a point. but to be honest GMAYL was really too super bowl-ish... not that great to be played outside football season. but yeah... buzz singles tend to appear when they aren't as successful as expected. anyway i just want to listen to the full version of GGW to see if it is better or not...
