You can't mention the music scene of 2008 without this track from The Ting Tings. Thanks to iPod commercials, like Feist's 1234 and Yael Naïm's New Soul,
Shut Up and Let Me Go blew up HARD. The tracks reminds the listeners of a mash up between two successful dancefloor anthems, I mean imagine, Blondie's "Rapture" roughly chopped to Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out.", the answer the wonderful
Shut Up and Let Me Go.Nonetheless, it's still a great track with catchy choruses that get everyone out on the floor. It is a the brilliant disco tune fills with attitude that shows why the Ting Tings can pull off this nifty balancing act. The clip for this is challenging The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army, but with a little twist of The Ting Tings in the mix. Well, it sure is great since the clip goes on to be nominated for Video of the Year at the VMAs 2008. SHUP AND LET ME GO, YAH!
15. N.E.R.D. - Everyone Nose

From the Album : Seeing Sounds
2007: Kanye West Feat. T-Pain - Good Life
2006: Cassie - Me & U
2005: Kanye West - Diamonds (From Sierra Leone)
2004: The Black Eyed Peas - Let's Get It Started
At the beginning of 2008,
Everyone Nose is the very first track I fell in love with and I cannot help but whoring this track all month long.
Everyone Nose showcases what makes N.E.R.D.'s music so great. The track has this naughty nose-tapper that nicely buffeted with the sound of electropop, hip-hop, and trickily timed beats. Also, the bass line and horn samples make it one of the most addictive hip-hop songs in recent memory. The chorus and verses in this track definitely get the crowd hype up before the big show. The band refuses to take themselves seriously in their lyrics, with the chorus containing a mantra of "All the girls standing in the line for the bathroom!" What I am trying to say is
Everyone Nose surely bound to leave the listener satisfied but wanting more.
I'm switching back and forth between album and singles, later tonight we are going to get into the top 10 albums!
