She didn't, I don't think. When Calvin and Katy were fighting on Twitter over him cancelling on her 30 mins before he was due to go on as her opening act she said something like 'It's OK, I'm used to you canceling on me now.' which kinda implies he never showed up to record with her.

I have a hard time believing this because of the other producers Interscope enlisted for TD: Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Tricky Stewart, Stargate.

Successful, well-known, proven hit-makers. even with "We Found Love" (which is fantastic, imo) Calvin doesn't fit that description.
