Thank you for the clarification. So they are in orange because there governments are entwined with religion. But in Greece the reason they are in orange is because of the vast majority of practitioners. Thank you again.

The Sumerians were a HUMAN civilization. Anyway, I do believe in evolution, its logical and make sense, and we have increasing evidence that keeps on corroborating it.

Even if it did originate in Africa and you're right it doesn't really matter because either way it doesn't make any recognizable difference in our history.

This isn't even a question for me. Especially with the increasing diversity and multiculturalism of society, it seems inappropriate for any specific religion to receive official recognition (and the power that comes with that). This country functions through law and government, not the moral judgments of church leaders.

Separation of Church and State should remain. The US was NOT a Christian Nation in the strictest sense, despite what the Christian Right thinks.

Increasingly, the Christian Right in the US wants to force its agenda on others.

Decriminalize Marijuana completely, it's way more beneficial than harmful. On the other hand I wouldn't oppose outlawing tobacco use.

Edit: Other soft drugs, if one counts them as such like ecstasy should remain illegal imo

Well... it's not that illegal here... I've even smoked in public... and you can get it "around the corner"... it's clinically proven that the Marijuana is not addictive and that you cannot get any major sickness caused by taking it... some testings go further, and claim that the cigarettes are worse than the marijuana... I tend to mix them hahahah and get them both!
Anyway, in Holland, where the Marijuana is legalized there are fewer drug addicts than in the other EU countries... I'm voting for legalizing SOFT DRUGS, but cocaine, lsd etc etc... no!

Sure, why not? Anyone who wants it is doing it anyway so why not give the government some tax benefits for it. With our trillion dollar budget deficit, I'm surprised this really hasn't been done yet.
