Like no one sounds like that. No one. Everyone keeps saying "she sounds like a black woman from the south" but when has Tara from True Blood ever sounded like that? It's literally a made up accent. And even if she could do an American accent well, she naturally doesn't have a good voice. Even in her interviews she sounds like she has phlegm in her throat.

So? That's just cultural integration. It's common in multicultural societies. It's like globalisation but on a more local/national level. Those girls aren't faking their accents poorly. They're speaking/singing how they normally would.
