I think she'll get a million Christmas week, but I think she'll stay in the 500-800k range the next two weeks, and return to 500-800k the week after Christmas. After New Years I expect 25 to sell very strongly for a January #1, but I don't think the album will get past 500k again until right around the Grammys. I think it'll stay in the 250-350k range though until the Grammys, and maybe for a week or two after them.

Technically, Eminem's 2002 CD has the best second week ever, with over 1.3 million in sales. However, he had to release his album two days or so before the street date due to leaks, and sold nearly 300k in less than days for a #1 debut, followed by the biggest-ever GG award the following week. So the first week was only 2 days of sales, followed by a full week (9 days). 25 easily outsold Eminem in its first 8.5-9 days.

She topped 1 million just a little before the end of business Thursday, so it was more like 1.8 days for 160k, and the leftover amount for the final hours of sales on Thursday.

Edit: And I just noted 25's sales increased from HDD's original "Final" report, which had her around 1.02-1.03 million in raw sales and around 1.08 M SPS. Now HDD shows Adele sold close to 1.06 M in raw sales, and over 1.1 in SPS.

Edit 2: 25 passed 1 million early on Thursday, not late on Thursday. My Bad!

Edit 3: 25 sold 1.11 million in just albums, so we'll see how much SEA & TEA add to 25 tomorrow.

yeah i know and that's really bugging me! i think the most fair way is to call the first 7 days of its the release its actual first week, in other words cut-off two days earlier than other albums.

Don't forget Week 7, the week leading up to New Years. 25 should surpass 500k that week too.

I think she could end up doing two more weeks of 1 million+ if I'm being honest.

Week 3: 600-800k
Week 4: 1 million+ (NBC special airs that week)
Week 5: 1million+ (NBC special effect and Christmas week)
Week 6: 300-500k (Christmas day/iTunes card effect may get everyone buying 25

I think she'll end up doing 7.5-8 million by the end of the year tbh.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if she somehow managed to do almost 1 million again next week given the Christmas rush will continue to boost album sales until Christmas day. Not to mention she must of done 160k on day 6. 160k * 7 = 1.12 mllion. The weekend she always seems to sell big too and each weekend will continue to get bigger.... Argh this slayage is too much
