I think they planned to include wireless charging but had to put it off until next year. The 7 "Pro" model was supposed to have a smart connector.

Yeah I'm happy I'm on the S cycle now. Though not being able to charge and listen to music has absolutely zero affect on me, my 6S+ already lasts nearly 2 days as it is, I don't think I've ever listened to my headphones as it's charged before

Yea, this is bizarre. And a giant "screw you" to anyone that flies frequently.

Does Apple think the Samsung commercial mocking iPhone users crowded around outlets at the airport was fiction? Being able to play music while the phone is charging is very necessary.

I honestly didn't know so many people actually charge and listen at the same time. Didn't seem like an issue to me.

Right. But at the same time, I'm not really on my phone that much. I just use it for music and texting. I guess people who are always on their phones need the charging.

Some people say it's because they wanted to make the phone water resistant and the headphone jack came in the way of that but that hasn't stopped Samsung

There's no argument that the 3.5mm jack must be dropped at SOME point but they're going about it all wrong. Bluetooth technology is not good enough yet and why would I buy Lightning headphones that I can't even use with any other device, even my MacBook?

If they were switching from Lighting to USB-C I would have an easier time swallowing the transition but this is ridiculous. They just want everyone to buy those awful Beats.

My 6 Plus still lasts me two days of normal usage or one day of heavy usage.

The phone has amazing upgrades which puts it even further ahead of any Android phone.

You've already said you have Apple stock so of course you're trying to defend everything they do

Most of the upgrades are already on Android phones (dual camera, water/dust resistance, etc). If anything Apple is just finally catching up (while still making dumb decisions like no headphone jack)
