I have difficulty seeing her pass 80k WITH SPS, given how poorly PI has performed.
The same 99.6k people who willingly bought PI after listening to it in full are definitely gonna buy Joanne first week. The question is, will Bublé block ha?
If they're so trendy, then how come the only other pop star who's "worked with them" (read: recorded a cover over their original track) is Rihanna?
Because most female pop stars don't work with indie people anyway, and psychedelic alt rock isn't setting pop radio on fire right now? There's different kinds of trendy for different audiences. The fact that two major pop stars have already done something with him this year shows you that Kevin Parker IS trendy. Like, this isn't a debate. And there's nothing wrong with Gaga working with him, apart from the song being crap. Pop stars are SUPPOSED to be trendy. She just needs to stfu with the "this is real music and the real me and I don't care about the charts" crap.

If she cared about the charts she would have gone into the studio with Max Martin.
I'm predicting 120-130k first week pure sales for Joanne. She has alienated the GP completely but she does have a loyal core base. The drops will be catastrophic after that if she can't get a hit though.
Instead she went into the studio with Mark Ronson and RedOne.
RedOne is a longtime Gaga collaborator who hasn't had a hit single since 2012, and the amount of hit singles Mark has produced can be counted on one hand.
Has Max had a hit as big as Uptown Funk or Sorry recently?
See above for Mark.
Likewise, Sorry is BloodPop's only hit (and Skrillex got most of the credit for it). Isn't he best known for working with Grimes, whose name I only recognize from ATRL fomos?
Producers: Mark Ronson ("Uptown Funk"), BloodPop ("Sorry")
Performs for radio heads before single comes out, does fifteen radio interviews in the week immediately after the single drops, song used in an ad for her horrible TV show, signs on to perform at Superbowl

K.
Because when the NFL comes calling to offer her free promo in front of 100m Americans, she's supposed to say no

Yes, I'm sure that's why Gaga worked with him.
Seriously some people need to get their stan goggles off and accept when their faves are being desperate lying messes
I don't need to take anything off. I just want to know why the OGH are so perched for all of her interviews. I don't waste this much energy on artists I (claim to) dislike.
Why do people keep acting as if BloodPop is the producer of Sorry?
Skrillex is, BloodPop probably just provided them with a beat or two.
And Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, the songwriters who have written hits for tons of other artists recently, are the real reason that song is a hit.
greasy i get what youre saying but you kinda have to admit that if she really wanted a hit and was aiming for success she wouldnt have released a song that sounds like perfect illusion as a lead single, let alone make it at all. working with trendy people doesn't necessarily yield trendy music
