Also, I downloaded Zedd's newest album, and for some reason, the song True Colors had Kesha (updated, without the $) listed as featured artist. I got so excited and I wondered how any of the Animals let this slip, but then when I listened to it, it wasn't her

What if it was the Zedd track she was rumored to have been working on and Luke put an end to it

I had to TiK CloK ha with receipts of her writing credits from Animal

I really, really doubt it. There were rumours of Kesha being on the track when the album was leaking but apart from that I genuinely just think it was some Twitter troll editing the filename of the leak. There was nothing published about it having Kesha on it, and it obviously doesn't as the uncredited vocalist is male (and not pitched).
