Shawols are too loyal and SHINee are too successful, so SM know they don't have to bother putting effort into anything they do.

Look how extravagant SNSD's comeback was (with 3 MVs, 3 physicals, their own reality show etc.) when Jessica left, cause SM knew they were in ****.

Maybe they'd finally notice SHINee if they flopped to the pits
