We're a rare breed. People from other countries seem to think we sound very similar to Australians but there's actually a pretty noticeable difference.
I may not know a lot about NZ accents but I do know that they're not really similar to Australian accents. NZers talk fast and short (if that makes sense).

Apparently when we say "fish and chips" it sounds like "fush and chups". I don't know if it's true, that's just what I've been told.
i remember being in middle school when twilight was starting to get huge and one of my teachers had posters of it all over her walls
another memory is when the backlash against twilight started in like early high school and i'd never read twilight but i said i had and hated it so i could look cool lmao
The last big movie/book craze I was involved in was Harry Potter.
