If she wanted something different she could've just sung Kanye's part herself and leave Paul in the producer credits. Making them both main artists was clearly a desperate move. So yes there was a lot of fear, probably because the other material she has recorded so far is garbage.

I thought Kworb was on Rih's side but he's just like the rest. If this album is indeed a million miles better than Unapologetic I'll be waiting for him to start defending her for another 2 years in SYG again saying her album is the best, and using her to shade the Hive and Bey

LOUD is universally her most favorited album but the gp .. I mean lets be real . It contains many of her greatest songs the whole era was fun sassy and girls which everyone loved from Rih ...

On the commercial side, it's her highest selling album in the UK ( her biggest market) and its her highest selling album in many areas .. It produced three number ones and was nominated for AOTY ...

GGGB wouldn't have that success if not for the Rih-release. So in reality LOUD is her most successful record . Sans Umbrella

You forget that people who work in the music industry are really incompetent. They probably saw Only One at #1 in dozens of countries and decided to rush-release this. It's like when Gaga started fighting with her team after her instant grat was #1 on iTunes everywhere. Few people understand how it works.

They thought this would be an easy hit to kick off the era.

You're shading some of my favorite Rih songs. I agree it's far from her best body of work but It had some of her best songs vocally, and sonically. And Lettuce not forget the pop trifecta that was OG,WMN,and S&M.

I *****d the album out when I bought it, I rarely listen to it now unless I'm driving somewhere far.

It will always have a place in my heart along with Rated R those two albers were released during a great time in my life

LOUD is so basic. The singles are the only good song songs and even those are very simple, generic songs.

WMM is the only true standout.
