The thing is that even if it's a bad song, if it's country, it's amazing.

And this is not being blind or something.. I just trust her, i know that lyrics are her most importan thing in music, i know her integrity as an artist, i know her vision of it.. so i don't worry! Who knows what she did with Max? Maybe some ballads too? Some pop-rock songs like Behing This Hazel Eyes? It's Taylor, not the first pop-star who just wants to produces hits without communicate something..

No. I like lyrics, pop 22 or country 22 would still be the same lyrics which arent that good. (Actually YBWM would be a better example since it is exactly what you describe; a pop song with a banjo in it. Guess what? I don't think this is her best lyrically because of the banjo lol)
I'm not saying the album won't be worth buying and supporting though.... if she releases 6-7 pop songs without amazing lyrics well there will still be ~8songs to like.

That's so not true. 22's lyrics would still be bad even in a country song. Stay Stay Stay is country and most fans hate it. Were only hating on Max because he tends to dumb down Taylor's lyrics.

I'm not saying pop songs aren't fun to jam to in the car or at her concert, but the fandom didn't beg for a year for Taylor to perform All Too Well at the Grammys to prefer 22, at least in most cases.

Anyway, I think waiting for Taylor to release the first single and the album to critic is a good idea, I'm just preparing myself to be disappointed. I mean I'd rather expect less and have more than expect more and be disappointed.

They upgraded our tix to the front stage!!! I touched Melanie's hand!!! Grant made eye contact with me!!! I took pics with her ****ing hat!!! Almost got access to the backstage but friends of my friend's friends couldn't be contacted so we weren't lucky enough to go to the backstage

Definitely the best day of my life!!!
