The Lord literally confirmed it a few months ago, and Scott just confirmed it again, I don't know why everything took it as "news" yesterday

And I don't think it'll be full of 22s, she said she's making it sound different than the last album.

Well I'm still holding onto my hope that it's all a lie I really wanted an alternative direction like State of Grace

If it's pure pop, I'd be cool with new-wavey pop like Sweeter than Fiction though.

Now that I've calmed down, I still think we will get alternative/rock sounding songs

Max has produced some amazing rock/country/alt sounding records so there won't necessarily be an album of 22s. I remain reluctant but Max producing doesn't mean she's abandoning everything for a couple of hits.

I mean this is her "favorite creation" so I'm still hopeful for something brilliant.
