My small bit, it's just something I've kind of noticed in the past.
This is what I don't like about a particular cable station (BET) at times, and the same goes to a couple certain other awards shows, certain television shows, and a couple radio stations I've heard. (Which is why I hardly ever support them.) Chances are there is still a negatively intended covert aspect of discrimination behind the creators of these entertainment productions, which doesn't help out society at all. The same goes to a few other stations where artists and/or people of certain races/ethnicities are most commonly as well as
allegedly played on purpose 95%+ of the time. This type of thing rarely bothers me at times, as I know that certain races unintentionally + naturally dominate a certain genre of music, but it's kind of disturbing to think about when brought up.
It just sucks that there is still this ugly division, especially after all the tribulations and trials from the civil rights eras we as some nations went through.
(I was going to make this a blog or a thread, but since Kworb brought it up, I thought why not...)
