My problems with Born This Way:

-the production: it's a bit too noisy and industrial for me and does not seem to match the empowering message of the song
-the bridge: the "no matter gay straight or bi, etc." rap has a great message but it's a ****ing mouthful; I don't think Gaga's ever sung the whole thing live because it's nearly impossible; the bridge could've been much more melodic and less crammed with lyrics
-the lyrics: overall i like them, but i'm not a fan of the capital h-i-m line, and what the **** does "a different lover is not a sin, believe capital h-i-m mean" (it's obviously not referring to Jesus since a different love IS a sin to him...so is it referring to the devil (His Infernal Majesty)?)

Overall I like the song. The "ooh there ain't no other way" part is really catchy and the song as a whole sold very well. I just think it could've been a bit better. I'm not sure why I'm saying this now but I was just listening to the demo and the song so I thought I would share me thoughts

I agree about the production, the rest no.

Unless you're brain dead, the bridge is super easy to go along with.

It's ironic how he brought up that "Capital H-I-M" thing though. I bought that up to you on Skype as well. She really was trying to stir up some ****

But yeah I agree the bridge is super easy to go along with and i'd even go as far to call it catchy.

It's a nice try, but other than the word "Yourself", there's no similarity between that and Madonna's song. They're completely different.

I cant believe people dont get those lyrics, it means she is going to hell but if everybody that she knows is there how can it be hell since hell is a place of pain but she has peeps there so it isn't that bad aka hell

I'm not, thank you very much. Gaga skips over whole verses of the bridge during many of her performances live because it's simply way too fast to sing live while dancing and whatever the hell else she is doing. The exception of course is when she slows the bridge down (like at the Grammy's) and the whole thing can then be sung. And I'm not saying I can't sing them myself or that it's hard for people to sing along; I just think with less lyrics and more focus on the melody the bridge could've sounded a lot better, especially as it is one of the only songs out there that so directly empowers LGBTQ people.
