I do agree that it's stupid to cast white people as minorities (Scarlett Johansson was just cast as a Japanese woman) but I don't see an issue about white people playing characters that were most likely white
If we're going to get super strict about historical accuracy the people playing that Hamilton play should be white instead of minorities and that's not cool imo
Hamilton is stupid but I guess since its a musical they have more of an artistic licence to play around with it. plus I guess theres a message they want to send with an all non white cast? but why any black person would want to portray slave owners is beyond me.
I agree that white people shouldn't really portray characters of other races but if their looks fit, what's the problem? (I'm talking about Angelina playing Cleopatra, not Scarlett playing a Japanese girl) The point is that there is almost zero chances of black/latino/asian actors being hired for big movies since they are unknown to the public and won't make them go and watch a movie. And that is the fault of movie industry being racist but those retards SJWs can only blame poor actors who were chosen to play someone

And maybe they are unknown to the public because they industry continues to whitewash roles and REFUSE to give them big roles.
It's a cycle. In order to break it, you need to stop giving white actors every role off their reputation.
