My point being, that although the You & I video was no phenomenon, it did it's job very well in boosting the song... and it is one of her better videos.

At least the Born This Way video has the excuse of its song being known by everyone in the world already, multiple weeks at #1 and an audio video that had been viewed over 100 million times (oh, and the video was actually good).
I'm not saying these videos need to be monumental successes, but isn't it apparent that NO ONE in the general public is here for these videos and they are not helping to promote the song. I'm not saying that's all they should be for, I understand she will do what she wants, but these videos are OBVIOUSLY flopping. When you have an Avril Lavigne song that peaks at #99 on the Hot 100 ******** on the video of your huge hit when you're the biggest popstar in the world who is (was) known for your videos, someone needs to at least realize it and call you out for it.
