The song is absolutely dreadful-sounding. One of the least radio-friendly/single-ready songs on the album. And, of course, that's the type of **** she will release unfortunately.
Because there is anything else on the album that is radio & single friendly?
0.1 % of her Facebook likes equals 450 000 monsters. That's pretty good, imo.
I said .01%, which is 45,000. Then, once you take into account that most of them are just mindless fans who already own the album and have probably purchased additional copies of the song, you realize there's no one left to buy it.

Ok, so now that it's (barely) underperforming, MTN is complete **** ?

Uh, why do you think this album is severely underperforming for her status? I mean, Born This Way is about the most friendly thing on there along with You and I and The Edge. Schiesse is single-ready with an edit. Other than that...I don't see how this album is going to last us until 2012.
Okay, to give you guys a perspective on just how completely god-awful these videos are performing:
Avril Lavigne's "Wish You Were Here", which had its highest WW peak in a major music market at #64 in Canada, has more views than the "worldwide smash" The Edge of Glory, despite being released 3 months later.
Not every music video has to be some 100m+ view phenomenon in order to be considered a success. The Born This Way video was released late and had little to none effect on the song, same goes for Judas and The Edge of Glory. The You & I video catapulted the song into the top 10 and resulted in some decent longevity (also thanks to some promo).
My point being, that although the You & I video was no phenomenon, it did it's job very well in boosting the song... and it is one of her better videos.
