nn I'm currently on a gap year whilst planning my trip for Tokyo & Seoul next year so I have a biT of spare time on my hands.
Not a gap year. Give me your life.
I'm on a ''break'' since the last week of October and I'm trying to catch up with releases this year and the people I want to give a try to, but it's still not enough.

I finished school in June and I don't start uni until October next year.
I fly out in April to Japan though and that's why I'm checking out lots in case I need to pick anything up whilt I'm there.
nn poor you but at least you're on a break still! You'll catch up eventually!
I'm jealous of you going to Japan.
Do you plan on going to any concert while you're there?
Yeah, my Uni (If I get in) only starts in March so I have a decent time to get most of it done, I hope.
I'm going to Seoul afterwards.
Honestly it depends if anyone I check for is playing, if so then I definitely will! I wanna try and see one of Yasutaka's sets tbh so I'll try that at least.
It also helps that my "job" (if you can call it that even) is mostly freelance work I can do at home too.

NHK revealed the 51 participants that will perform at this year's Kōhaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle), the New Year's Eve singing contest that is Japan's most viewed music television program. The channel confirmed that AKB48's sister idol group Nogizaka46 and the Love Live! franchise's female idol group μ's will be first-time performers.
The lineup also includes first-time performances by rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN (Tales of the Abyss, Blood Blockade Battlefront) and Superfly (Ushijima the Loan Shark live-action film), as well as 34-year-old singer Gen Hoshino, 19-year-old Sakurako Ohara, Rebecca (the rock band who are reuniting after two decades), and the four-person band Gesu no Kiwami Otome.
The full lineup is as follows (the number in parenthesis next to the names represents the number of times they've performed on the program):
An enka singer, so unless you want to explore the genre and bear with the same arrangements, she isn't. I'm having my life to them neo-traditional bops though.
